In the development of the TMC Operator Requirements and Position Descriptions document, a set of 16 base TMC functions and their associated composite tasks and discrete tasks was derived. In the Interactive Dialog section of this site, users of the full dialog can completely characterize a TMC of interest by selecting the functions and tasks from the base set that the TMC of interest performs, and by defining new functions and tasks if the TMC of interest performs additional functions or tasks that are not found in the base set.
The List of Functions and Tasks page allows you to view the entire list of base functions, composite tasks, and discrete tasks, plus any additional user functions, composite tasks, and discrete tasks that have been created in the full dialog. (Only user functions and tasks that have been created in the current browser session or loaded in the current profile will be displayed.)
The set of checkboxes in the box labeled "List Display Controls" can be used to modify what is displayed in the list of functions and tasks. Select or deselect checkboxes, then click the Update Page button to update the list. Discrete tasks cannot be displayed unless composite tasks are displayed, and composite tasks cannot be displayed unless functions are displayed, so some checkboxes will be grayed out when they cannot be selected.
When the checkbox labeled "Only show items selected in full dialog" is checked, only those list items that are currently selected in the full dialog will be displayed in the list.
