Once you have characterized your TMC of interest and selected KSAs for inclusion in your outputs, you can generate three types of outputs: position descriptions, training programs, and lists of testable skills. The final, formatted outputs are displayed in your browser, and you can also download the outputs to your computer as plain text (.txt) files or as Rich Text Format (.rtf) files. The plain text outputs do not retain any formatting (such as bold text or font size), but can be viewed in any text editor or word processing program. The Rich Text Format outputs retain formatting, but must be viewed in a word processing program.
The tool will generate your outputs one at a time. You can provide some general inputs, select the type of output product to be generated, and specify the performance level for which the output product should be produced on the Select Output Products page. The tool will generate customized position descriptions based on your characterization of your TMC and the KSAs that you selected for inclusion. The tool will provide text for some parts of the position description, and guidance as to the text that you should provide for other sections. See the "Understanding Position Descriptions" tutorial for more information on position descriptions.

The tool will generate customized training program outlines based on the Traffic Management Operations Technician Training Program included in the TMC Operator Requirements and Position Descriptions document. This output provides the basis from which a full training program can be developed. The tool will generate customized lists of testable skills, which are a subset of the KSA list generated from your function and task inputs. This output consists of a list of measurable skills that can be developed into a skills test to determine whether individuals are performing to standard.
